Announcing 2018 Italy Workshop Schedule

As some of you may know, we bought a dreamy medieval fortress aptly named, La Fortezza in the countryside of northern Tuscany,  a region known as Lunigiana. Have a look at the the Italian Creative Workshop schedule for 2018, and pick your workshop for next summer.

The most exciting announcement is that we will be renting La Fortezza starting in 2019. If you have visions of your wedding, corporate retreat, or catalog product shoot here, you will be able to use La Fortezza as your exclusive destination/location. More on that to come...

We had been searching for the best workshop location for 3 years and finally found our dream location last summer. We have been busy this year with renovations and have made great strides.

We have been holding our summer/fall workshops here, and they have been such fun. We've enjoyed meeting everyone and working with attendees from all over the world.

Next year, we will offer food photography as well as food and prop styling workshops, like we always have, however,  we will be adding some exciting new photography workshops, figurative fine-art photography, plus and amazing wedding photography/styling and branding workshop, with world renowned photographers.

We are very excited to offer an abstract painting workshop next fall as well as a preserving Italy workshop (canning and preserving from our organic garden) .

Of course, there will be plenty of eating and wine drinking, especially since we are now the owners of our own vineyard. Drinking our own wine is really something special.

A new, exciting offering will be a Strictly Styling One-on-One Workshop with me, Annette for aspiring stylists, new bloggers, experienced stylists, and experienced bloggers looking for some new inspiration. This workshop will consist of styling lessons, prop shopping with me at all of my favorite haunts, cooking with me,  and even discussions about styling and production, including the business side of things as well and making your brand stand out. So if you want to hang out with me and learn all of my styling secrets, grab your spot as they are very limited.

Of course as always, we will be going on many excursions to local farmers' markets to buy food products to use in our shoots and at our cooking lessons.  We will have a few surprise guests cooking and styling in 2018, too. Our goal is to network and create beauty with amazing talents from all over the world. We want La Fortezza to be worldwide creative haven where the best of the best teach and mentor other creatives from all over the world. A real creative cooperative where like-minded people can simply create in the most gorgeous setting in Italy.

So as you can see, it’s going to be an incredible summer of programs in 2018.

As always our workshops are open to all levels.
