This workshop is a little different from what we have offered in the past.  Our photography instructor, Harriet Leibowitz, is a fine art photographer. She’s been shooting for over 30 years. Her work is part of many major collections around the world and is featured in many important galleries. She is a true talent and an inspiration.

This photographic experience with Harriet is more than a retreat. It is the opportunity to work side by side with one of the most important figurative photographers in the world. You will experience the personal communication and artistic vision of an accomplished artist one on one. You will be pushed to be your best possible self and create your best work ever. Not only will you create beautiful images, but Harriet will guide you through the technical and creative processes step by step.

Set in the Italian region of Lunigiana (Northern Tuscany), in the mountains. The location where you will be working and staying is an 11th century fortress. The location has been appointed specifically for photoshoots as we have the most amazing backdrops all over the 8500 square foot campus. There are 27 acres, including a vineyard, at your disposal. Ancient stone buildings and beautiful foliage serve as the perfect environment to create beautiful imagery all day long. We will also be shooting at a private villa in an olive grove, it has a pool and it completely secluded, the perfect outdoor location. Come prepared to shoot in the pool if you wish.

We have the most incredible models joining us who will be collaborating with students to create the most memorable and stunning imagery.

Learn to improve your lighting, your imagines and your editing skills. You will leave with beautiful and masterfully created images. We promise a fulfilling experience with great memories and wonderful new friendships. This creative retreat will take your photographs to the next level.

Our classes are limited to 6 students, so you will get individual attention and instruction.
