Annette Joseph is an American author, interior and food stylist, producer, and entertaining expert. She has lived in Italy for 20 years and has hosted workshops and creative retreats for over 10 years. She believes that living in the Italian countryside is the best way to feel each season, where you cook and eat locally, and always embrace each day in full. Living in the moment is her motto! Annette wishes to share this way of life with everyone that stays at La Fortezza; it is her mission. Experiencing life at La Fortezza is truly life changing. La Fortezza
In 2016 I bought a dreamy medieval fortress in the countryside of northern Tuscany, a region known as Lunigiana. Now my Italian home and retreat space, the fortress is aptly named, La Fortezza. For the past few years, I have worked tirelessly to restore the property and turn it into a home and creative space for visionaries from around the world, and today, I welcome you to experience it for yourself. The entire compound has a casual, bohemian, monastic, peaceful vibe. I like to live an earth-friendly lifestyle. Therefore, I am very tuned into the amount of water and electricity I consume. I ask that everyone be mindful of their footprint while staying here. All rooms are comfortable, including Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and a private bathroom. Each room has it’s own unique personality, filled with peaceful energy, I invite you to enjoy your stay in my uniquely designed and very comfortable rooms. You will get a good night's sleep, and that’s for sure; and that’s a promise.
