Behind the scenes :: Minted Baby Shower Shoot

Hello! Yesterday's shoot went just the way I like it to... super fun and super smooth. Deborah and I shot a beautiful baby shower story for one of my favorite go to paper and party sites, Minted. When I first started producing the story I had such a hard time deciding what theme I wanted to select because the party decor options they have are all amazing.photo 5I settled on a cute craft paper Spring "Birdy" story. The illustration on the invitation and the decor has the cutest little pregnant birdy on it. Can't wait to share it with you.photoThis is the screen capture of the "chocolate egg creams." YUM! All the recipes will be up on the blog following the post.photo 2photo 4I love this down shot of the tablephoto 6This is the screen capture of the quiche and blackberry salads. The full party post will be up in the next week or so, but I wanted to share the behind the scenes of our photo shoot with you. In the spirit of sharing this year, I want you all to see what goes into creating the beautiful images you see on the pages of magazines, cookbooks and blogs. If you're interested in learning about how to better shoot and style your food stories join Deborah and I in Seattle, March 22nd for our first food/prop/photography workshop.
