hit the ground running :: my new gig with M&V Magazine
After a summer in Italy reentry is always a bit bumpy, mama mia! Jet lag ugh and, missing my morning Italian espresso, missing friends, missing the ocean, the slow pace, and the Italian language, the markets, the church bells, and people talking with their hands, I even miss the non stop buzzing of the Vespas on our street.I am blessed to have a job that allows me to work anywhere, and a job that when I return although hectic, is creatively fulfilling, a joy! I recently was offered a new position with Muses and Visionaries Magazine as their "Entertaining and Home Editor", definitely a dream gig. The team at M&V are visionaries themselves as they say this is the start of a beautiful friendship. This position allows me to share gatherings and parties all over the country and all over the world, pretty darn cool, and wait until you see who we have lined up! It's a fantasy to finally be able to feature iconic women (and some men) sharing their party style with me, and in turn with all of you.I had the pleasure of shooting one of my own artistic muses Susan Hable last week, with the splendid photographic eye of Kathryn Mccrary, I think you will be amazed at the mind blowing celebration she puts together for the pages of M&V. She's cool, real, fun and has pink hair...She's definitely a girl who's crush worthy! Check it out coming in November. In the meantime, follow M&V on Instagram, check out my official editorial debut, a feature from Italy in the current food issue and of course for all my styling adventures follow me on Instagram. Have a great weekend and ciao for now xx
