Meet the AJS Workshop Team:: Megan Bowers

MeetTheAJSMeganBNow that you've gotten to learn more about me and Sarah Dorio, I thought you'd like to meet our newest member, Megan Bowers of Pictory Productions. Megan is our videographer, and I cannot wait to see all of the ways she helps make our workshops even better.I met Megan at Alt Summit, and we instantly hit it off. I knew she would be a great addition to our team. She's spunky, too, and I love that. Q: Tell me a little bit about yourself.A:Your full name? Megan BowersWhere are you from? Pittsburgh, PAWhat do you do for a living? I make brand films for creative businesses.What is your role on the AJS Workshop Team? I'm the videographer!

Q: Tell us about your background. A: I have been creating video content for over 10 years. I've filmed everything from broadcast news to brides to businesses.

Q: Describe your expertise for the workshops. A: My job is to capture the awesomeness of Annette's workshops. My initial objective was to market other workshops, but the attendees love it because it also serves as a keepsake for them and their experience.

Q: What do you enjoy most about being a part of the AJS Workshop Team? A: I love being surrounded by so many talented professionals (both the teachers and students). I always leave the workshop with lots of lessons and inspiration.

Q: What is one app (business related or not) you absolutely cannot live without? A: Google Translate. In Marrakech, I was able to have full conversations from English to Arabic with the locals. It was such a surreal experience!

Q: Where is your favorite place to travel?A: Italy...do I really need to go into detail?!

Q: What is one travel destination you hope to cross off your bucket list? A: Thailand

Q: What is your favorite part of exploring a new destination? A: Getting out of your comfort zone and pushing past any pre-conceived nerves or fears.

Q: What is one travel essential you’re sure to pack on every trip? A: Lots of outlet converters! When it comes to shooting video, I'm constantly charging laptops and batteries.

Q: Just for fun (and in true Annette style), what is your go-to cocktail? A: An Aperol Spritz (I'd drink it for breakfast if I could.)
