Oscars Red Carpet Favs

Hi All! I'm Nicole, Annette's web manager and author of the blog, Probably Polka Dots. I'm delighted to be guest-posting today while Annette is having a fabulous time in Marrakech at her workshop. Have you been following along with her on Instagram? Absolutely swoonworthy pictures!Speaking of swoonworthy, I am still giddy over the Oscars red carpet. A lot of critics said that this year's carpet was underwhelming, but I have to say that I disagree. Even if the weather did put a damper on the events, the dresses were anything but blasé. So today I am sharing a round-up of my top 5 Oscars red carpet favs. Let's get to it!Margot Robbie looked stunning in Saint Laurent. I'm especially partial to her punchy lip.22-OSCARS-NOTEWORTHY-slide-4UVD-superJumboLupita never fails to disappoint, especially in this pearl beauty by Calvin Klein Collection.22-OSCARS-NOTEWORTHY-slide-0ALQ-superJumboOh mon dieu, Marion Cotillard in Dior Haute Couture, be still mon coeur.22-OSCARS-NOTEWORTHY-slide-JCYX-superJumboReese is about as southern and classic as they come, and I adored her white and black gown by Tom Ford. She reminds me of a Barbie, and I love it.22-OSCARS-NOTEWORTHY-slide-CPX5-superJumboAt first Emma's Elie Saab didn't wow me, but the more I looked at it, the more I loved it! The sleeves, the details, the sparkles; totally Oscar worthy.22-OSCARS-NOTEWORTHY-slide-EZJ9-superJumboOkay, okay, I said top five, but who can leave Gwyneth out of a best dressed list? Not me!1992-master-2048-v1Based on these looks, I have a feeling we'll be seeing a lot of white and pastels this spring. Can't wait! Thanks for having me, Annette, and safe travels on your adventures!images via
