One of the coolest things by far about St. Tropez is the
Place des Lices Market. Held in the center of town twice a week (tuesday and saturday), you will find an enormous selection of food, flowers, oils, etc. My friend Monica said I looked liked Alice in Alice in Wonderland when I strolled through it. I guess I am sort of awestruck by the beauty of the collected foodie treasures... must be the prop/food stylist in me. I must admit the foodstuffs drive me wild. A simple cheese and salami on french bread with a glass of Rose from Provence really can’t be beat. OK maybe with a few of the heavenly herbed olives thrown in for good measure!
