The Village Churches of Italy

IMG_3787One of the things that's most charming about Italy is that even in the tiniest towns there are always a sprinkling of the most lovely churches, both large and small. The icons, alters and Madonna's are so beautiful, hand carved cherubs and embroidered pieces adorn every church all around the land. Here are a few images I wanted to share with you today. Have a wonderful weekend!IMG_3782IMG_3788I love this heavy patina and the worn door of this little church, so quaint.IMG_4032IMG_4021IMG_4023IMG_4025IMG_4026IMG_4027
