west elm Atlanta workshop and booksigning

_FRJ5260I have to say my book signing events have really been a blast. I get to meet all sorts of people and chat about my favorite subject "me" (kidding!). I absolutely love talking about food and entertaining with all the people that trek out to my events. It is so enjoyable._FRJ5349_FRJ5325I am constantly surprised by what terrific questions people have for me at these things. Mainly I like the eating and drinking and mingling that goes on. No kidding. Last week I had the great pleasure of signing Picture Perfect Parties at west elm in Atlantic Station (most definitely my go-to prop shopping destination) and of course I always buy a little something for myself, I just can't ever resist. Their products are fresh and inspired and spot on... not to mention well priced and well designed._FRJ5257The west elm staff knocked it out of the park, from promotion to menu to the really fun workshop, it was a perfectly executed event. We had a great turn out, nibbled, drank and mingled (I may have had one too many Candy Cane Martinis :)). I even had someone come see me from Virginia... Alexandra, I was so flattered! She is a doll BTW._FRJ5410_FRJ5272_FRJ5305_FRJ5267Dayle greeted everyone and introduced me, then we dove into the demo of the sweet and salty popcorn. The festive jarred take away craft was a big hit. At one point Sonny the store manager took over, which I totally loved. He was so enthusiastic, it was inspiring! We set the buffet table to look exactly like the Holiday Open House chapter in my book, we used the same menu as well! Once Sonny was finished with "his " demo :) Dayle handed over the finished take away craft project to all the guests and then the book signing began._FRJ5333_FRJ5380See how happy I am see the empty cocktail next to me? What can I say, I am a party girl!_FRJ5396Of course my amazing team Lesley and Justin, what would I do with out you guys.  Love you both XOThank you from the bottom of my heart west elm xxA special thank you to my cute hubby Frank who doubled as the staff photographer. xoxo
