Sif Orellana will conduct this workshop, of course, with AJ style team support in leading the workshop experience. Sif is a publisher, photographer, award-winning cookbook author, and co-founder of Denmark-based boutique take-away cafe, Greenilicious.  She is a new addition to the AJ style team this year, and she will be teaching healthy recipes. All attendees will take part in cooking classes along with recipe writing and photo styling lessons. This workshop will focus on local food product and healthy cooking. It’s the perfect fit for food bloggers, people with food allergies, and bloggers wanting to amp up their content and produce pretty photographs as well. You will be using your camera, so bring it along. This workshop is for all levels. Sif is an experienced photographer, so she will be available to answer all technical questions you might have about photography and your camera.

There will be excursions to the farmers markets, along with a free day which includes the choice of excursions. We will also offer a trip to a local antiques market where you will prop shop with Annette. All lessons will be conducted on the grounds and in the gorgeous photo studio situated in the stone barn.

Total cost: $3,275 (nonrefundable initial deposit: $1,500 + remaining deposit due one month prior)

The Instructors:

Sif Orellana, cookbook author & photographer, will be teaching basics intermediate and advanced styling and photography techniques.

The Setting –  The Fortress

The Fortress, the Joseph's Tuscan summer home and workshop location, is nestled in the heart of Northern Tuscany a region known as the Lunigiana. The medieval stone compound sits on 27 acres, on the grounds are Roman ruins, a river and the vineyard. The Fortress has a breathtaking view of the Apennine mountains & the marble-topped Apuane Alps and the valley below. The property is surrounded by olive groves, chestnut trees, and fruit orchards. The Fortress was a medieval defensive tower in a region that had over 120 castles and kingdoms to protect in the 15th century. On the property there are 3 outbuildings, a massive terrace, and a private living quarters. You can wander the grounds with camera in hand and capture the Italian country life during your stay.
