Join us for four nights on this once in a lifetime creative retreat, and immerse yourself in the rich and colorful culture of Marrakech, Morocco. Taste exotic food and engage all of your senses in a kaleidoscope of color at the markets. Drink in the intoxicating visuals while bonding with other creatives in the most beautiful setting, Peacock Pavilions. Acclaimed food and prop stylist, Annette Joseph, and gifted editorial and lifestyle photographer, Sarah Dorio, will be teaching the basics along with advanced styling and photography techniques. This workshop includes exotic day trips and will engage your imagination and forever inspire your imagery. The workshop is for all levels, but keep in mind you should have basic knowledge of how to operate your camera and place it on a manual setting. Join us on this unforgettable and exotic adventure. 

The Instructors: 

Annette Joseph, acclaimed food and prop stylist, and Sarah Dorio, gifted food and lifestyle photographer, will be teaching basics and advanced styling and photography techniques while Cassandra LaValle, uber blogger behind Coco+Kelley, will be giving social media and blogging tips and tricks. 

The Setting: Peacock Pavilions 

6 Rooms, that are beautifully appointed. You maybe sharing a room with a workshop attendee, or you are welcome to bring your own room mate, but please let us know if this is the case, so we can house you together. Please let us know if you do not want to share a room as private rooms are available.

Day 1
Pick up at the Marrakech, Morocco, (RAC) Airport.
Upon your arrival, settle in and then join us for a Cocktail Reception and orientation meet and greet and then an authentic Moroccan themed dinner under in an Arabian Tent.

Day 2
8:30 am Breakfast
Drive into the Medina
Photographic Guided tour of Marrakech Medina, and we will be buying products and props for our photo shoots as well a photographing as we go. 
12:30 pm - Group lunch in town
6:30 pm - Henna party at Peacock Pavilions
Dinner on your own

Day 3
8:30 am -  Breakfast
Workshop at Peacock Pavilions, lunch, & workshop
Henna Social
Dinner and Belly Dancing in town

Day 4
8:30 am Breakfast
On your own with your camera in tow. Here are some suggested activities:

  • Cooking Class in the Atlas Mountains- Day Trip

  • Shopping with a Guide Mary O’dell

  • Historical tour of Marrakech with a guide

  • Hammam at Royal Mansour Spa

  • Photographic guided tour through the Medina, this is an early morning activity
