For Your Style I'd Walk a Mile with Lauren Rubinstein

Meet Lauren Rubinstein. Lauren and I go way back. I've had the immense pleasure of collaborating with her several times over the years and she's one of the best commercial photographers out there. She shoots both interior design and food, her eye for both can be seen in Traditional Homes, Southern Living, Better Homes and Gardens, Bon Appetit and several cook and gift books recently published. She has also worked for Marriott International, W Hotels, JC Penney, Macy’s, St. Regis Hotels, and America’s Mart. Lauren currently calls Atlanta, Georgia home, but can be found working for clients all over the USA and abroad. Thanks so much for sharing, Lauren! Take it away...1.Who would you want to play you in a movie?Wow, thats a hard question. Everyone always tells me I look like Gabby Reece, the vollyball player, but I have always loved Salma Hayek; there is just something about her. Even though I am almost a foot taller than her, and she has that beautiful Spanish accent, I love her spunk! yeah, definitely Selma!!!2.I wish I could...speak 5 languages. Well, I probably could, I just need to get going on that!3.My first style memory is…I believe it would be starting my photography career and simultaneously designing and decorating my first home. I remember being introduced to amazing interior designers and taking ideas and tips from them to piece together my own design style. It was my mission to achieve a home that was out of magazine on a newbie budget.4.I could not live with out my....My people. That includes everybody I surround myself with that brings me joy. If we are talking inanimate objects, it would definitely be my home. It is the one thing that calms my soul when I walk in the door; it is instantaneous.5.I could live without...Drama, plain and simple.A photo that inspires me:
