I love a good remodel and this Atlanta cottage is a stunner. The homeowners are pretty cute too, huh? My job is to highlight what's really great about a room and to make the picture "pop." I brought out even more yellow in that top picture with daisies and lemons to emphasize the fun trunk on their beautiful porch. I also loved that bright orange lamp base in their guest room so I paired it with some equally orange ranunculus. That's a trick of the trade that I use a lot in shoots and one that you can also use in your own home. Look at what you already have and then play it up with same-hued florals or serving ware the next time you entertain.
